YOGA FUNDAMENTALS & BREATHING TECHNIQUES - online

Designed for both; beginners and regular yogi’s who would like to deep- in their basic alignment skills. We will focus on how alignment can help you find your mental and physical balance, which is important in many yoga poses; arm balances, inversions, and even the standing poses. It is also a very important part of our daily lives that becomes even more important as we get older.Most of us only use 30 percent of our lung capacity, learning to breathe consciously and with awareness can be a valuable tool in helping to restore balance in the mind and body. Regular breathing techniques (Pranayama) practice will alleviate dullness, fatigue, and calm down the anxious mind. "Prana '' means vital force and "Ayama" is the distribution of energy. Conscious and rhythmic breathing is an excellent tool to increase your speed, endurance and strength, and improve the quality of your workout AND Yoga practice.

Pranayama is a very effective way to work with old pains and hurts to heal and restore a natural equilibrium throughout the autonomic nervous system. 

After bringing our mind in a calm place we will focus on planting the seeds of intention for the year , creating clarity in the mind, in the heart and in life. 

So come prepared to learn, laugh, and sweat! Appropriate for all levels. Please bring your own mat if you have one, a water bottle, hand towel and any questions you have.Limited availability . Reserve your place.
