As we drop toward the most Yin time of the year and find ourselves naturally wanting to slow down, become quieter & more still, this 2 hours workshop is the perfect opportunity to cosy up indoors and honour those feelings with a beautifully mindful practice of Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra.

Enjoy revitalising and relaxing Yin-Yang Yoga which focuses on bringing your body and energy back in to balance. You will feel nourished, clearer and very relaxed.

Yin gives us the opportunity to release and surrender into a pose, slowly and gently settling into our body. Yin allows us to tune into our feminine energies, cool and hidden, reflective and passive. Yang, the opposite energy, masculine, hot and dynamic. There can be no yin without yang - a sense of balance is required to bring a sense of well being and harmony.

The class will be gentle and meditative, including pranayama (breathing practices), meditation, yin and yang yoga, before culminating with a deep relaxation - yoga nidra.

Yoga Nidra,the yogic sleep is a guided deep relaxation that leads you into a state between waking and dream consciousness. Here deeper layers of consciousness are reached by specific breathing techniques, visualizations, sensory awareness and mindful meditation. Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation that helps the body and mind to relax on all levels. A proven antidote to anxiety, yoga nidra has been adopted by trauma therapy and stress-out people.

You do not need any prior knowledge for this yoga class. There is no right or wrong. You can be and stay exactly as you are.
This yoga class is perfect to escape the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle and to take time just for YOU.
